If you are interested in a Ph.D. in my group, you can apply for one of the ISMB Wellcome Trust or BBSRC Studentships.

Wellcome Trust Studentships

Closing date for applications for entry in September 2010 is Wednesday 13th January 2010.

These inter-disciplinary 4-year studentships involve a rotation around 3 labs in the first year each of which covers a different discipline. A project is then selected for the remaining 3 years. Projects which I am offering this year are on antibodies and metal binding.

BBSRC Studentships

Closing date for applications for entry in September 2010 is Friday 19th February 2010.

These 4-year studentships are project-specific, but involve a period spent in a collaborating laboratory in a different discipline. This year I am offering a project on metal binding.
